BIOGRAPHY

Delaney (she/her) is a Limited Licensed MSW who places an emphasis on building an open and collaborative relationship with each client as to develop trust and a good working relationship in the therapeutic relationship. She finds it important to recognize that each client is unique and the expert on their own life. In practice, her approach is to utilize evidence-based practices that are best fit for each individual client based on needs, strengths, challenges, and such.

Delaney has attended Michigan State University for the entirety of her college education, earning a Bachelor’s of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice, as well as a Master’s of Clinical Social Work. Delaney has experience in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) therapy, as well working with anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes and transitions, etc.

The best therapeutic work can be done when you really connect with your therapist and feel they hold the capacity to understand you. Delaney believes that building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential for the best work to be done, as a sense of trust and comfort can go a long way in making the treatment process as beneficial as possible. As a result, Delaney takes a collaborative approach with clients, as is extremely beneficial and effective to all types of therapeutic work that can be done.

Outside of work, Delaney loves to spend time with her loved ones, listen to music, read a good book, write, and watch horror movies.
